A honey and cinnamon coating makes these glazed carrots extra special.
Serves :

Preparation Method :

  • Steam or boil the carrots for 5 minutes until crisply tender. Drain well and return to the pan.
  • Add the butter to the pan to melt and add the cinnamon and honey. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Add the chopped fresh coriander and toss well to coat the carrots with the flavoured butter.
  • Serve garnished with a sprig of fresh coriander.


  • 450 grams carrots, peeled and cut into batons
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon clear honey
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander (cilantro)
  • Salt and ground black pepper
  • Sprig of fresh coriander, to garnish
