Preparation Method :

  • Spray a non-stick frying-pan with cooking spray and stir-fry the pepper, carrot and mushrooms for about 3-5 minutes.
  • Add the chilli sauce, cover tightly and simmer gently for 10-12 minutes.
  • Add the beans and cook for further 3-5 minutes.


  • 500 grams red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 250 grams mushrooms, thickly sliced
  • 500 grams medium chilli sauce
  • Low-fat cooking spray
  • 1 red pepper, de-seeded and cubed
  • 1 large carrot, peeled and diced
