SPINACH BHAJEE

Preparation Method :

  • Heat the oil in a large frying pan. Stir-fry the cumin, sesame and mustard seeds for a minute, then add the garlic and stir-fry for one more minute.
  • Add the onion and sauté for 2-3 minutes. Stir in the curry paste and bring the mixture to simmering point.
  • Add the spinach and continue to cook, stirring frequently for about 3-5 minutes or until the spinach has heated through.
  • Adjust seasoning with salt to taste and serve hot or warm.

INGREDIENTS

  • 750 grams fresh spinach, washed, chopped, cooked and strained
  • 150 grams onion, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Cooking oil
  • 1 tablespoon mild curry paste
  • 1 teaspoon white cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • 1 teaspoon black mustard seeds
  • 4 garlic cloves, chopped
  • Salt, to taste
