Preparation Method :

  • Slice the tops of capsicum. Remove seeds and apply salt inside. Keep upside down for at least 10 minutes.
  • Peel and mash the potatoes. Finely chop onion. Preheat oil in a small frying pan. Add onion and fry till golden brown.
  • Add potatoes, salt and pepper. Fry over high heat for 10 minutes.
  • Add lemon juice and coriander leaves. Mix well. Stuff capsicums with equal portions of potato stuffing. Top with equal portions of cheese.
  • Cook in a slow oven till capsicums are tender.
  • Serve hot. 


  • 8 large capsicums
  • 8 medium sized boiled potatoes
  • 2 onions
  • 4 tablespoons IDHAYAM sesame oil 
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1 lemon
  • 200 grams chopped coriander leaves
  • 6 tablespoons cheese
