STUFFED MASALA CAPSICUM

Preparation Method :

  • Heat 2 tablespoon oil in a fry pan adds jeera, fennel seeds, and coriander seeds and pop them. Now add chopped vegetables, green peas and chopped onions and saute them for 5 minutes on high flame.
  • Add mashed potatoes, grated paneer, green chilies and masala and fry for another 2 minutes. Finally add chopped coriander leaves and chopped dry fruits. Remove from flame and let it cool for a while.
  • Wash Capsicum well, hollow them and fill the mixture. Now fry them in oil till lightly golden color.
  • For Gravy : Heat 2 tablespoon oil and add ginger garlic paste to it. now add left over mixture and masala to it stir for 5-6 minutes and then add 2 cups of water, boil for 2 minutes.
  • Now add fried capsicum and cook for 5 minutes. Garnish with Cream and chopped coriander leaves.
  • Serve with Lacchha parantha or Basmati Jeera rice.

INGREDIENTS

  • 5 no.s Medium size capsicum
  • 200 grams Chopped carrots, cauliflower, onion, beans
  • 100 grams Green peas
  • 50 grams chopped mix dry fruits (almonds, pista, kaju, kismis)
  • 200 grams Boiled & mashed potatoes
  • 100 grams Grated paneer
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic-ginger paste
  • 10 grams Chopped coriander leaves
  • 2 tablespoon Chopped green chilies
  • ½ teaspoon Jeera, fennel seeds, coriander seeds for tarka
  • ½ teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • ½ teaspoon Garam masala powder
  • ½ teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • Salt to taste
  • IDHAYAM sesame oil for frying
