Preparation Method :

  • Boil potatoes and then peel and cut into half.
  • Scoop out the center portion of the potato.
  • Mash the Scooped potatoes.
  • Heat a pan and add sesame oil, onions and stir fry them until they start changing colour.
  • Then add ginger-garlic paste and mix it well and after 2-3 minutes, add red capsicum, yellow capsicum, green capsicum, carrot, green chillies and then add salt, red chilli powder and black pepper powder and mix it well.
  • Let it cook for about 5 minutes and add mashed potatoes and mix it well.
  • After 5 minutes, add tomato paste and take it off from the flame.
  • Take a frying pan and add a little sesame oil.
  • Fill in the scooped out potatoes with the vegetable mixture and place some cheese and place this stuffed potato in the pan.
  • Similarly, fill in all the potatoes and cover the lid for about 1-2 minutes until the cheese melts.
  • Serve hot.


  • 4 Potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon grated cheese
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 100 grams red capsicum finely chopped
  • 100 grams yellow capsicum finely chopped
  • 100 grams green capsicum finely chopped
  • 1 carrot finely chopped
  • 5 green chillies
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper powder
  • 1 tablespoon red chili powder
  • IDHAYAM Sesame oil for frying
