Preparation Method :

  • Heat the oil in a saucepan and gently brown the onion.
  • Add the bacon and cook over medium heat for 10- 12 minutes.
  • Add the peas, salt, pepper and sugar, cover and cook over low heat for 10 minutes.
  • Serve immediately.


  • 2 tablespoon Cooking oil
  • 1 medium-sized onion, chopped
  • 6 bacon rashers, finely chopped
  • 450 grams frozen peas
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • Pinch of sugar
