Preparation Method :

  • Heat the oil in a frying pan. Add the onion and garlic, and saute over a high heat, stirring, to gain a little color.
  • When they are golden, remove from the pan.
  • Put the beans into a mixing bowl and stir in the onion and garlic.
  • Add the sun-dried tomatoes, olives, capers, thyme, extra virgin olive oil, lemon juice, and salt and pepper to taste, and mix well.
  • Check the seasoning and serve.


  • 4 tablespoons Cooking oil
  • 2 onion, sliced
  • 2 garlic clove, crushed and chopped 
  • 700 grams can white beans, drained 
  • 250 grams sun-dried tomatoes in oil, drained and roughly chopped
  • 2 tablespoon chopped black olives
  • 4 teaspoons chopped capers 
  • 4 teaspoons chopped thyme
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil 
  • Juice of 1 lemon 
  • Salt and pepper
