TORTA DI PATATE

Preparation Time :
10 minutes

Cooking Time :
35 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Mash the potatoes.
  • Add the flour and salt. Mix it well.
  • Transfer the potato in a greased baking pan.
  • Top this with Mozzarella cheese cubes.
  • Season it with Parmesan cheese, pepper and oregano /thyme /rosemary.
  • Sprinkle olive oil over the top.
  • Bake at 190 degree C in a pre-heated oven until the surface of the torta has browned lightly and the potato dough is crunchy. (Approximately 30 -35 minutes).
  • Remove it from the oven and allow it to cool.
  • Cut into squares and then serve. 

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 grams potatoes (boiled and peeled)
  • 200 grams Flour
  • 150 grams Mozzarella cheese (small cubes)
  • 2 tablespoon Parmesan cheese
  • 1 table spoon oregano /thyme /rosemary (chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons Cooking oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
