MELON AND PARMA HAM SOUP

Serves :

Preparation Time :
15 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Cut the melon into halves and remove the seeds. Scoop the flesh into a food processor or blender and whiz until the soup is smooth, and then add the Salt and the Pepper to taste as desired.
  • Now dice 4 Ham Slices and stir them in the soup and then cut the remaining 4 Ham Slices in thin ribbons.
  • Garnish the soup with the Ham Ribbons and the Torn Basil Leaves.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Ripe Cantaloupe or Charentais Melon
  • 8 Slices of Parma Ham
  • Salt and Pepper as desired
  • Red basil leaves to garnish
