Preparation Method :

  • Combine olive oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper.
  • Coat the tuna with olive oil mixture. Grill it for 3 minutes per side or until slightly charred. Cool it and chop it finely.
  • Beat mayonnaise and egg together. Add onion, lettuce, olives, red bell pepper and chopped tuna. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Spread this mixture evenly on 4 slices of bread. Top it with grated cheese. Cover it with another slice of bread.
  • Serve it immediately.


  • 500 grams tuna steaks
  • 8 slices bread (toasted)
  • 200 grams mayonnaise
  • 1 small onion (finely chopped)
  • 10 black olives (pitted and chopped)
  • 1 red bell pepper (roasted and minced)
  • 1 egg
  • ½ lettuce head (shredded)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 4 tablespoons cheddar cheese
  • 4 tablespoons Cooking oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
