CRAB STICK SALAD

Preparation Time :
50 minutes

Cooking Time :
30 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Mix sesame oil with dried bonito fish stock, ground chili, salt, pepper, vinegar, shoyu sauce, brown sugar and lemon juice.
  • Stir the mixture to thoroughly blend the ingredients. Simmer over medium heat and stir until the sugar dissolves.
  • Remove from heat and let stand and allow to cool.
  • Arrange the stringed crab sticks and strips of Japanese cucumber into a plate.
  • Pour over the salad dressing and sprinkle with ground white sesame.
  • Serve with sushi.

INGREDIENTS

  • 6 pieces imitation crab stick (torn into strings)
  • 1 Japanese cucumber cut in half and sliced into long strips
  • 2 teaspoon coarsely ground white sesame

Salad Dressing

  • 2 tablespoon ground chili
  • 5 tablespoon dried bonito fish stock
  • 2 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • 4 tablespoon Japanese vinegar
  • 4 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 4 tablespoon shoyu sauce
  • 4 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground pepper
