CHILLI SOYA PANEER BELL PEPPERS BURRITOS

Preparation Method :

  • Method to prepare tomato salsa: Boil tomatoes in enough water till they become tender. Puree the tomatoes with the blender.
  • Add 2 finely chopped tomatoes to it. Add jalapenos, onion and oil. Cook till onion becomes tender. Add seasoning and keep it aside.
  • For filling: Heat oil in a pan, add garlic, onion till it becomes tender. Add salt, red chilli flakes, chopped bell peppers, pinch of sugar and sauté for 2 minutes till they become tender.
  • Add jalapenos, and seasonings and baked beans to it. Mix well. Remove from heat.
  • Add to basso sauce .Allow it to cool. On each tortilla spoon filling in it and grate cheese and roll them and make burritos and bake in a preheated oven for 5 minutes for 190 degrees centigrade on both the sides.
  • In a serving dish, place lettuce leaves for cabbage leaves, arrange burritos on it. Top them with tomato salsa and sour cream. Serve hot.

INGREDIENTS

  • 8 medium Tortillas

Filling

  • 200 grams soya tofu, mashed
  • 150 grams baked beans
  • 400 grams yellow, green and red bell peppers, thinly sliced
  • 2 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 4 spring onions, finely chopped
  • ¾ teaspoon red chilli flakes
  • Salt to taste
  • 1½ tablespoon fresh jalapeno
  • 4 drops of tobasco sauce
  • 250 grams grated cheese (chedar)
  • 1 tablespoon rice bran oil

For tomato salsa

  • 10 tomatoes
  • 2 finely chopped tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon Cooking oil
  • 2 onions, chopped finely
  • ½ tablespoon fresh jalapeno, chopped
  • 3 tablespoon cilantro, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • 100 ml water
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • ½ teaspoon sugar
