Preparation Method :

  • Clean the fresh spinach under running water and remove the stems and any large veins.
  • Chop the leaves and simmer in their own juices until tender, about 20 minutes. Cool.
  • Blend the yoghurt with the garlic, cumin and seasonings, add to the spinach and mix it well. Chill until its ready to serve.


  • 500 grams  fresh spinach
  • 175 grams natural yoghurt
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • Pinch of cumin
  • Salt and pepper
