SMOKED HADDOCK AND CHEESE BAKE

Smoked Haddock and Cheese Bake is one of those delicious foods you can consider to prepare with your family! This really looks so tempting and is pleasant to one’s taste! Definitely, once you’ve tasted it you can enjoy it the second time around!

Preparation Method :

  • Put the fish in a pan with just enough water to cover. Bring to the boil, then lower the heat and poach gently for 15 minutes or until the fish is tender.
  • Drain off the water, and then place the fish in a baking dish.
  • Sprinkle the cheese and salt and pepper to taste over the fish. Put the remaining ingredients in a bowl, mix well, and then pour over the fish.
  • Stand the dish in a roasting tin and pour in enough water to come 1 inch up the sides of the pan. Bake in a preheated moderate oven for 40 minutes.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 kilogram smoked haddock fillets 
  • 50 grams grated Parmesan cheese 
  • Salt
  • Freshly ground white pepper
  • 300 ml plain low-fat yogurt 
  • 500 ml skimmed milk
  • 4 eggs, beaten 
  • 2 tablespoon chopped parsley
