SPICED LAMB BAKE

Heart breaks? Worry no more. Prepare this simple kind of dish to your most beloved ex-girlfriend. For sure she will be sorry and you’ll be re united again.You will certainly soon get married and will have a happy ever after.

Preparation Method :

  • Cover the bottom of a small roasting dish with the orange slices. Sprinkle the lamb steaks with salt and pepper to place on top.
  • Mix together the ginger and sugar, then sprinkle over the lamb. Place a slice of lemon on each lamb steak and pour over the stock.
  • Cook, uncovered, in a preheated moderate oven (180°C/350°F, Gas Mark 4) for 1 hour.
  • Blend the corn flour (cornstarch) with the water. Strain the juices from the dish into a pan and stir in the corn flour (cornstarch) mixture.
  • Heat, stirring, until the sauce has thickened. Arrange the lamb on a warmed serving dish and pour over the sauce.
  • Garnish with parsley and serve with jacket baked potatoes and peas.

  • 2 orange, sliced 
  • 4 lamb leg bone steaks 
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper 
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger 
  • 2 teaspoon brown sugar 
  • 1 lemon, sliced 
  • 300 ml stock 
  • 2 teaspoon corn flour 
  • 2 tablespoon water 
  • Parsley sprigs to garnish
