Tomato Quiche is a likeable dish that you must not take for granted! This is a healthy dish that basically consists of parsley, basil, tomatoes, thyme, black pepper, eggs, milk and small onion! For sure you would want this dish to satisfy your hunger!

1 hour 20 minutes

Cooking Time :
1 hour

Preparation Method :

  • Heat the oven to moderately hot.
  • To make the filling, put the tomatoes, onion, basil, parsley, thyme and water in a saucepan and season with salt and pepper.
  • Simmer for 5 to 6 minutes or until the vegetables are soft, then cool.
  • Beat together the egg and milk, then add to the tomato mixture.
  • Pour into the flan case and bake in the oven for 35 to 40 minutes until the filling is set and golden.
  • Garnish with the tomato and parsley. 


  • 8 inch whole meal cheese pastry case


  • 750 grams tomatoes, skinned and thinly sliced
  • 2 small onion, peeled and chopped
  • 2 teaspoon chopped basil
  • 2 teaspoon chopped parsley
  • 2 teaspoon thyme
  • 4 tablespoons boiling water
  • Salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • 500 ml skimmed milk


  • Tomato slices
  • Parsley
