EASY BAKED FISH

Preparation Method :

  • White Sauce: Heat half of the butter, add the flour to it and fry lightly. Add the milk and cook, stirring continuously till the sauce thickens. Adjust seasoning.
  • Grease a pie dish with little butter. Lay the flaked fish at the base of the dish, top it with macaroni, then the white sauce, cheese and the bread crumbs.
  • Top with little butter and bake in a moderately hot oven for 20-22 minutes or until the surface turns brown in colour.
  • Serve hot.

INGREDIENTS

  • 300 grams Fish, cleaned, rinsed, boiled, deboned and flaked
  • 250 ml Milk
  • 150 grams Macaroni, boiled and chopped
  • 50 grams Butter    
  • 75 grams Bread crumbs    
  • 1 tablespoon Flour    
  • 50 grams  Cheese, grated    
  • Pepper and salt to taste
