Preparation Method :

  • Combine all the ingredients except the tomatoes in a large bowl. Lay the fish in a greased oven-proof dish and pour the mixture on top to cover it completely.
  • Bake in a moderately hot oven for about 15-20 minutes. Serve hot garnished with tomatoes.


  • 750 grams Fish, cleaned, cut into fillets and washed
  • 100 grams Thick curd beaten
  • 50 ml Butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon Chilli powder 
  • ½ teaspoon Turmeric powder 
  • ½ teaspoon Caster sugar 
  • ½ teaspoon Peppercorns crushed 
  • Sliced tomatoes, to garnish

Grind to a fine paste

  • 1 tablespoon Onion 
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger 
  • 1 tablespoon Almonds 
  • 2 teaspoon Raisins
