SAVOURY BAKED FISH FILLETS

Preparation Time :

Cooking Time :
30 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Mix all ingredients together except the egg yolk and egg white and cook on a low flame, stirring continuously till the mixture thickens. Keep aside to cool.
  • Stir in the egg yolk. Fold in the egg white. Grease a baking dish and transfer the fish contents into it. Bake in a moderately hot oven for about 30 minutes in a pan of hot water.
  • Serve hot with white sauce.

INGREDIENTS

  • 250 grams Fish fillets, cleaned, rinsed, boiled, deboned, skinned and mashed    
  • 200 ml Milk    
  • 2 tablespoon Butter    
  • 50 grams Bread crumbs
  • 1 Egg yolk    
  • 1 Egg white beaten till stiff
  • Lemon juice to taste    
  • Pepper and salt to taste
