Preparation Method :

  • Add bacon to pan, cook, stirring, until lightly browned and crisp, drain on absorbent paper; cool.
  • Beat butter, yolk, cheese and sifted flour in small bowl until mixture comes together, knead gently on lightly floured surface until smooth.
  • Roll dough on lightly floured surface. Cut into small rounds. Place rounds on greased oven trays; sprinkle with combined extra cheese and bacon.
  • Bake in moderately hot oven about 10 - 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on trays.


  • 2 bacon rashers, finely chopped
  • 50 grams butter
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 100 grams  grated tasty cheddar cheese
  • 100 grams plain flour
