Preparation Method :

  • Beat butter, essence and sifted icing sugar in small bowl until smooth. Stir in sifted flour and chopped nuts.
  • Roll rounded teaspoons of mixture into balls, place on greased oven trays, top with 50 grams of nuts.
  • Bake in moderate oven about 10 - 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on trays.
  • Dust the biscuits with extra sifted icing sugar.


  • 50 grams butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 50 grams icing sugar mixture
  • 75 grams plain flour
  • 100 grams pecans, finely chopped
