CRUNCHY DROPS

Preparation Time :
20 minutes

Cooking Time :
15 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Beat butter, essence and sugar in small bowl until smooth, add eggs and beat until combined.
  • Stir in the sifted flour and soda, milk, nuts, dates and cherries.
  • Drop level tablespoons of mixture into Corn Flakes; toss lightly, place on greased oven trays, flatten slightly.
  • Bake in moderate oven about 15 - 20 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on trays.

INGREDIENTS

  • 250 grams self-raising flour
  • 175 grams Corn Flakes  
  • 175 grams butter
  • 150 grams castor sugar
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • ¼ teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 75 grams chopped walnuts
  • 110 grams chopped dates
  • 50 grams chopped glace cherries
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
