CHEFS CLUB SANDWICH

Preparation Method :

  • Toast the bread on both sides, and then butter one side of each slice.
  • On the first buttered side, place some lettuce, cheese, tomato and bacon and a little freshly ground pepper.
  • Place second slice of toast on top, buttered side down, spread with mayonnaise and arrange more lettuce and chicken on top.
  • Season with salt and pepper, then top with third slice of toast, buttered side down. Cut in two to serve. Repeat to make another sandwich.
  • If like, garnish with stuffed olives.

INGREDIENTS

  • 12 thick slices white bread butter for spreading crisp lettuce leaves
  • 8 slices Gruyere cheese
  • Tomato slices
  • 4 rashers back bacon, grilled
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 12 slices cooked chicken
