Preparation Method :

  • Mix together peas, potatoes, chutney, salt and pepper. Keep aside.
  • Mix grated cheese, onions, capsicum and mayonnaise together.
  • Apply the peas -potato filling on one slice of bread and cover with the second slice. Press together.
  • Spread the cheese filling on the second slice and cover with the third. Press.
  • Similarly make another sandwich with the other 3 slices.
  • Remove sides, cut into three pieces and serve.


  • 6 slices - lightly buttered

Potato-Pea Filling

  • 1 potato - boiled, peeled and grated
  • 50 grams peas - boiled and mashed
  • 2 tablespoon green mint chutney
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Cheese Filling

  • 50 grams cubes cheese - grated
  • 3 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 onion - chopped finely
  • 1 small capsicum - chopped finely
