RAINBOW SANDWICHES

Preparation Method :

  • Make a semi thick batter of besan, salt, baking powder, lemon juice with water. Beat well.
  • Spread chutney on one slice on the buttered side.
  • Cover with another slice and spread tomato sauce.
  • Cover with the last slice. Press well.
  • Dip the sandwich into the besan batter. Make sure that the batter covers all sides and deep fry. Cut into 4 long pieces and serve hot.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 tablespoon mint chutney
  • 70 grams gram flour
  • A pinch of salt
  • A pinch of baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 3 slices of white bread - buttered lightly
  • 2 tablespoon tomato sauce  
  • Cooking oil for frying
