Preparation Method :

  • Thick White Sauce : Melt the butter in a pan, add the flour and cook for 1 minute, while stirring continuously.
  • Add the milk and on cooking and stirring till the sauce thickens and no lumps remain. Remove from the flame.
  • In a pan add butter and fry the onions till pink.
  • Add eggs and mix well. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper. Remove from fire.
  • Mix the chicken pieces and white sauce.
  • Spread on slices of bread or toast.


  • 100 grams chicken pieces
  • 1 egg
  • 1 onion - chopped finely
  • 6 slices bread - toasted or plain
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Thick White Sauce

  • 75 grams butter
  • 75 grams plain flour (maida)
  • 200 ml milk
