CORN AND MUSHROOM TOASTS

Preparation Time :
15 minutes

Cooking Time :
10 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a small pan. Fry the sliced mushrooms, till light brown.
  • Add tinned corn with salt and pepper. Stir for a minute.
  • Remove from heat and stir in cream and capsico sauce.
  • Spread a little butter on the toasted bread and cut into 4 pieces.
  • Spread some corn filling over the toasts. Garnish with a coriander leaf and serve.

INGREDIENTS

  • 100 grams mushrooms - washed and cut into thin slices
  • 4 slices of toasted bread - buttered and cut into four pieces
  • Few drops of capsico sauce
  • 75 grams canned sweet corn  
  • 2 tablespoon of thick fresh cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Few coriander leaves - to garnish
