Preparation Method :

  • Mix curd, onion, tomato, capsicum salt, pepper and powdered cumin in a mixing bowl.
  • Spread the mixture on the unbuttered side of a slice.
  • Cover with another slice, keeping the buttered side on the outside.
  • Toast on a non-stick pan on both the sides. Remove when sides are lightly browned. Cut into two and serve.


  • 1 tomato - pulp removed and finely chopped
  • 1 capsicum - finely chopped
  • ½ teaspoon black cumin seeds - powdered
  • 8 slices bread - buttered very lightly
  • 320 grams thick fresh curds - hung at least for 45 minutes
  • 1 onion - finely chopped
  • Salt and pepper or to taste
