Preparation Method :

  • Put the pork legs into a sufficiently large saucepan of salt water.
  • Bring the water to the boil and allow the legs of pork for about 20 - 25 minutes.
  • Take the legs of pork out of the water, allow them cool down a bit and dry them well.
  • Mix the spices with the beer, mustard, herbs and oil.
  • Spread the marinade over the legs of pork and cook on the grill for about an hour.
  • While cooking, baste them with the marinade and turn frequently. 


  • 1 kg front legs of pork, washed
  • 225 ml beer
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 2 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon marjoram
  • 3 teaspoon Cooking oil
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
