Preparation Method :

  • Mix the yogurt with the olive oil. Fold the garlic and the mint into the yogurt with pepper.
  • Put the meat into the yoghurt marinade and let it soak there for about 30 minutes.
  • Take the cubes of meat out of the marinade, shake off the excess liquid and thread them alternately with the bacon, the onions, the bay leaves and the black olives onto skewers.
  • Cook the chicken skewers on the grill for about 5 minutes on each side.


  • 500 grams chicken breast fillets, washed, dried and cut into large cubes
  • 250 grams yogurt
  • 100 grams streaky bacon, cut into large strips
  • 2 onions, peeled and quarter
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic, peeled and finely pressed
  • ½ bundle of mint, washed, dried and chopped mint
  • 8-10 bay leaves
  • 10 - 12 black olives without the stones
  • Pepper and salt, to taste
