Preparation Method :

  • Cut the bean curd into ½ -inch (1.5 cm) dice. Put it into a sieve, and leave it over a bowl for 10 minutes so any excess water can drain from it.
  • Lightly beat the eggs. Mix in the bean curd.
  • Preheat the grill (broiler) to high. Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Pour in the egg and bean curd mixture. Cook, tipping the pan and lifting the sides of the setting egg, until the underside is set and beginning to colour.
  • Transfer the pan to the grill (broiler). Cook until the omelette is set and the top browned.
  • Work the tamari or shoyu sauce and peanut butter together in a blender. Spoon the mixture.


  • 250 grams bean curd
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons groundnut oil
  • 2 tablespoons tamari or shoyu sauce
  • 2 teaspoons crunchy peanut butter
