Preparation Method :

  • Place the milk in a small pitcher (preferably metal).
  • Place the steam nozzle of the espresso maker a quarter of the way into the pitcher and open the steam valve all the way. The steam will cause the milk to foam and become airy.
  • Do not allow the milk to boil or become too hot. Place the candy thermometer in the pitcher. When the milk is heated to 180°F, it is ready. Close the steam valve.
  • Prepare the espresso and pour into individual cups. The coffee should till only a third of the cup.
  • Mix the heated milk with a spoon and pour into the coffee cups. Alter you have poured most of the milk into the coffee, place the spoon under the milk you arc pouring to form a layer of white, foamy milk on top of the coffee.
  • Serve immediately.

  • 100 ml whole milk
