Preparation Method :

  • Preheat the oven at 160°C / 320°F.
  • Beat the butter and sugar till light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one by one and then the vanilla.
  • Mash the bananas with a fork and add to the mixture.
  • Sieve the flour with the baking powder.
  • Fold in the flour alternating with the chocolate chips. Put the batter in a greased 6-inch round cake tin. Bake for about 40 minutes or till done.


  • 100 grams powdered sugar
  • 50 grams chocolate chips
  • 100 grams refined flour
  • 50 grams unsalted butter
  • 2 eggs
  • ¼ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 small, ripe bananas
