Preparation Method :

  • Place the chopped dark chocolate in a bowl, then add the butter.
  • Melt the chocolate and butter in a microwave for 2 minutes.
  • Remove from the microwave and stir really well. Add the sugar and stir continuously. Crack eggs into the bowl, one at a time and whisk vigorously.
  • Stir in the flour and mix. Add the vanilla essence and mix, allowing the flour to fold into the mixture.
  • Line a greased baking tray with parchment paper. Pour the batter into the tray and bake in the oven for 20 minutes at 180°C. Alternatively, cook in the microwave on convection settings.
  • Remove the tray from the microwave and allow it to cool for some time. Once cooled, slice into squares, then dust with icing sugar using a sieve. Serve warm.



  • 150 grams Dark chocolate, chopped  
  • 150 grams Butter
  • 250 grams Caster sugar
  • 3 Eggs
  • 150 grams All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla essence
  • 3 tablespoon Icing sugar, for dusting
