Preparation Method :

  • Line the base and ¾ inch up the sides of a 7 inch square shallow baking tin with the rice paper.
  • Put the chocolate and butter into a heatproof bowl set over a pan of barely simmering water and leave until melted.
  • Stir the biscuits and nuts into the melted chocolate, turn the mixture into the prepared tin.
  • Spread the mixture evenly and chill for several hours or until firm.
  • Remove the cake from the tin and cut it into small pieces.


  • Edible rice paper
  • 350 grams plain dark chocolate, broken into pieces
  • 150 grams mixed whole nuts 
  • 150 grams unsalted butter
  • 30 digestive biscuits, chopped into small pieces
