Preparation Method :

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  • Using an electric mixer on medium, beat the butter and sugar together with until smooth.
  • Add the eggs, ground coconut, coconut flakes, cream, flour, baking powder, coffee and liqueur and mix until well blended.
  • Pour the batter into the pan.
  • Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Remove the cake from the oven and set aside to cool before serving. Store for up to 2 days in an airtight container.


  • 200 grams butter, softened
  • 200 grams sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 200 grams coconut, ground
  • 100 grams coconut flakes
  • 100 ml sweet cream
  • 300 grams flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 tablespoons instant coffee dissolved in 1 tablespoon boiling water
  • 1 tablespoon coffee flavored liqueur
