Preparation Method :

  • Sift maida, soda, baking powder and salt.
  • Cut the bananas into small pieces and Mash to a pulp and Keep it aside.
  • In a bowl, beat sugar and butter till light and creamy.
  • Fold in eggs and maida alternately. Then fold in the mashed bananas and walnuts.
  • Grease and dust a shallow 6"- 8" cake tin. Pour the mixture in the prepared tin.
  • Heat oven to 180°C. Bake the cake for 35 minutes or until the cake is baked.


  • 2 eggs 
  • 150 grams plain flour 
  • 120 grams powdered sugar 
  • 75 grams chopped walnuts
  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed 
  • 100 grams butter 
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • A pinch of salt
