CARROT CAKE

20 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Sift the flour with the spice powder and baking powder well.
  • Beat the eggs first and then beat in the oil and the sugar.
  • Fold in the flour mixture to the egg mixture, a little at a time.
  • Add the carrots and the raisins. Mix well.
  • Pour into a greased tin and bake for 40 minutes at 180°C till a tooth stick inserted in the centre of the cake comes out clean.
  • Cool on a wire rack.

INGREDIENTS

  • 220 grams grated carrots
  • 60 grams raisins
  • 220 grams refined flour
  • 175 grams brown sugar
  • 150 ml Cooking oil
  • 1 teaspoon cardamom and nutmeg powder
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 3 eggs
