Preparation Method :

  • Sieve the flour with the baking powder and soda.
  • Beat the butter and sugar till light and fluffy.
  • Beat the eggs with a hand whisk in another container and then add gradually to the mixture, beating well. Add the essence.
  • Fold in the flour alternating with the chopped dates and walnuts.
  • Adjust the consistency with milk. Put in a lined and greased tin and bake at 150°C for about 1 hour or until a knife inserted comes out clean.


  • 100 grams powdered sugar
  • 100 grams butter
  • 100 grams seedless dates, chopped 
  • 100 grams refined flour
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 50 grams walnuts
  • ¼ teaspoon baking soda
  • Few drops of vanilla essence
  • 50 ml milk

    hi, well i liked this recipie,, bt this would be more beneficial, if u show it in a video, u know sometimes the things can be misunderstood, at the time of movie, tips can also be given..

    Thanks for your suggestion Mr.RajVeer kaur...If we are going for the production of VIDEO RECIPES....which will cost us more in production as well hosting...But surely we will come up with video recipes..
