SOFT STRAWBERRY CAKE

Preparation Method :

  • Melt the butter/margarine. Cool and keep aside.
  • Sieve the flour with the spice powder.
  • Beat the eggs with an electric hand mixer adding sugar a little at a time till well dissolved.
  • Add the melted butter to the egg mixture. Then add the chopped strawberries.
  • Finally fold in the flour and mix well.
  • Bake at 180°C for 1 hour or till a tooth stick inserted in the centre of the cake comes out clean.

INGREDIENTS

  • 150 grams finely chopped ripe strawberries
  • 350 grams brown sugar
  • 150 grams unsalted butter/margarine
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 4 eggs
  • 250 grams cake flour
