Preparation Method :

  • Yogurt-Cream-Spice Mixture: Mix the cream with all the seeds, powders and yogurt in a mixing bowl.
  • Mint Chutney Mixture: Add the raisins, fennel powder and sugar to the mint chutney. Mix well.
  • Slit the paneer cubes and spread the chutney mixture.
  • Press halves together again. Marinade the paneer cubes in the yogurt-cream-spice mixture for about 10-15 minutes.
  • Skewer the pieces and cook in a preheated oven at 120°C / 250°F / Gas mark 1 for 5-7 minutes. Serve hot.


  • 1 kg paneer, cut into small cubes
  • 150 grams Yogurt, hanged in a muslin cloth, till the whey is drained 
  • 50 ml Cream
  • 1 teaspoon Yellow chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon White pepper powder
  • ½ teaspoon, Carom seeds
  • Red chilli powder and Salt to taste
  • 100 grams Mint chutney 
  • 25 grams Raisins 
  • 2 teaspoon Fennel seeds, powdered
  • 2 teaspoon Sugar
