FENUGREEK FLAVOURED COTTAGE CHEESE

Preparation Method :

  • Add the cottage cheese cubes with the marinade, mix well and marinate at least for an hour.
  • Preheat the oven to 160°C / 325°F / Gas mark 3. Thread the cubes 1" apart on a skewer.
  • Roast in an oven / tandoor / grill for about 5-7 minutes. Baste with butter.
  • Serve hot sprinkled with chaat masala and remaining lemon juice, accompanied with green chutney.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 kg paneer, cut into small cubes
  • Butter for basting

Marinade

  • 100 ml Cream
  • 150 grams Yogurt, hung
  • 2 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste
  • 2½ tablespoon Gram flour / Corn flour
  • 1 teaspoon, Dried fenugreek leaves
  • 1 teaspoon Chaat masala 
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • Salt to taste

Paneer Masala (Mix and Refridgerate)

  • 50 grams Cottage cheese, grated
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon White pepper powder
  • 2 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon, Black cumin seeds
  • Salt to taste
