Preparation Method :

  • Place cubes of cheese, quarters of tomato, squares of whole meal bread, bacon and fruit alternately on to skewers.
  • Brush the kebabs all over with the melted margarine.
  • Cook under a preheated hot grill for approximately 3 minutes, turning once, until the bacon is cooked.
  • Serve the kebabs on a bed of brown rice.


  • 500 grams Cheddar cheese, cubed
  • 8 tomatoes cut into quarters
  • 8 slices whole meal bread, spread with margarine and cut into squares
  • 4 rashers streaky bacon, derinded and cut into quarters
  • 2 banana, peeled and sliced
  • 2 dessert apple, unpeeled, cored and cubed
  • Margarine, melted
