Preparation Method :

  • Put the cottage cheese in a bowl with the cucumber, herbs, and salt and pepper to taste; mix well.
  • Place the soaked gelatine in a bowl over a pan of simmering water and stir until dissolved.
  • Cool slightly, and then stir into the cheese mixture with the mayonnaise.
  • Turn into a greased ring mould and leave to set in the refrigerator.
  • Garnish with watercress to serve.


  • 750 grams cottage cheese, sieved
  • 1 cucumber, peeled and diced
  • 2 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 2 tablespoon snipped chives
  • 2 tablespoon chopped thyme
  • Salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 30 grams gelatine, soaked cold water
  • 300 ml reduced-calorie mayonnaise watercress, to garnish
