Preparation Method :

  • Heat 2 tablespoon oil in a pan. Add garlic with the spring onion, cabbage, carrot, capsicum and chicken. Stir in the soya sauce ,salt, pepper and ajinomoto. Remove from heat and cool.
  • Mix the egg, corn flour, maida and salt in a bowl with ½ cup of water to make a batter. Beat well to get a smooth batter of pouring consistency.
  • Heat a non stick pan. Pour a serving spoon full of batter and roll the pan to get a thin pancake.
  • Remove the pancake when cooked. Do not turn. Make more pancakes with the remaining batter. Keep it aside.
  • Place the filling little away from one end on the cooked side. Fold the sides in, roll up enclosing the filling. Seal the edge with leftover batter or egg white. Keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan and deep fry the roll to golden brown and crisp. Cut into 4 pieces.
  • Serve hot with ketchup.


  • 75 grams cabbage - finely shredded 
  • 50 grams grated carrot
  • 1 chicken breast - boiled and shredded 
  • ½ capsicum - shredded 
  • 1 spring onion - finely shredded upto the greens 
  • 1 egg
  • 4 tablespoon All purpose flour
  • 4 tablespoon corn flour
  • 100 ml water 
  • 4 flakes garlic - crushed and chopped 
  • 1 teaspoon soya sauce
  • Pinch of aji no moto 
  • Salt and Pepper to taste 
  • IDHAYAM MANTRA peanut Oil for frying
