Preparation Method :

  • Beat the egg with the water. Crush the oats with a rolling pm and mix with the orange rind and curry- powder.
  • Coat each drumstick with flour, then egg. Finally pat the oats firmly on to the drumsticks, coating them evenly.
  • Arrange the drumsticks in a roasting tin pour the oil over them and bake in a preheated moderate oven for 20 minutes.
  • Increase the oven temperature to hot and cook the drumsticks for a further 15 minutes or until crisp and golden.
  • Serve with jacket potatoes or brown rice and green salad. 


  • 15 chicken drumsticks


  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoon water
  • 8 tablespoons rolled oats
  • Grated rind of 2 orange
  • 2 teaspoon curry powder
  • 2 tablespoon plain flour
  • 100 ml IDHAYAM sesame oil
