Preparation Method :

  • Heat the ghee in a large frying pan or wok. Stir-fry the cumin and mustard seeds for a minute.
  • Add the garlic and stir-fry for 1 minute. Add the ginger and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes.
  • Add the sliced onion and stir-fry for about 3-5 minutes or until golden.
  • Combine the chicken pieces with the ingredients in the pan, stirring and turning for 5 more minutes.
  • Add all the remaining ingredients and stir-fry for about 10-12 more minutes or until cooked through. Serve immediately.


  • 750 grams skinless, boneless chicken breasts, cubed
  • 150 grams onion, thinly sliced
  • 90 grams ghee
  • 1 teaspoon white cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon black mustard seeds
  • 50 grams red pepper, cored, deseeded and chopped
  • 6 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 2 inch piece fresh root ginger, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoon mild curry paste
  • 50 grams green pepper, cored, deseeded and chopped
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander leaves
  • 4 teaspoon water
