Blanched and roasted almonds are great when added to this chicken dish – Liver and Almonds. The taste of the almonds blends well in the chicken meat and also on the thick sauce. Enjoy this dish during your lunch or dinner.
Serves :

Preparation Time :
20 minutes

Cooking Time :
30 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Cook the liver in salt and water. Slice and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan, fry the onions, liver and bamboo shoots.
  • Add soya sauce, salt, and sugar and moisten with water.
  • Dilute corn flour with water and pour into the pan.
  • Add almonds, cook together for one minute and serve.


  • 8 chicken livers
  • 4 tablespoon oil
  • 2 onion sliced
  • 4 tablespoon bamboo shoots, sliced
  • 2 tablespoon soya sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoon corn flour 
  • Little water
  • 15 whole almonds blanched and roasted
  • Salt to taste
