Getting the best meal with moghlaimurgh masala! This special dish is combined with alluring taste because of its added ingredients like chilly powder, large chicken, poppy seeds and other seasonings. Every piece is completely tempting and you fully enjoy your regular meal.

Preparation Time :
45 minutes

Cooking Time :
1 hour

Preparation Method :

  • Grind the masala to a fine paste.
  • Cut the onions very fine.
  • Heat oil in a pan and fry the onions until golden brown.
  • Then fry the masala paste and lastly the tomato. Fry until the oil separates.
  • Now throw in the chicken pieces and fry again for 10 minutes more.
  • Add salt and water to Cook the meat.
  • Remove from fire when the gravy is quite thick.


  • 1½ kilograms chicken - cut into large pieces
  • 2 big onions
  • 5 tomatoes - blanched and cut into small bits
  • 2" piece ginger
  • 6 flakes of garlic 
  • 2 teaspoon garam masala 
  • 4 teaspoon poppy seeds 
  • 1 teaspoon shahi jeera 
  • 2 tablespoon chilly powder
  • Little haldi
  • 250 ml ghee or oil
  • Salt to taste
